Formed in 2014, Rumor Town feature original members of Jay Eric & The Blieders Creek Band. Jay Eric, Matthew Aaron, Bruce Alan and John Thiem made up one of the most popular country bands in south Texas over the last 2+ decades. To keep up with the ever changing country music industry, it was time to lean a different direction and record original music and get it out to Texas radio. Now with 9 singles to date, you can say they have done just that. All songs are self promoted and all singles have in the Top 75 Texas songs on the charts including their first Top 40 He’s Right Where I Belong and Heartbreak Highway being featured in an episode of the TV Series Lethal Weapon.
Jays signature vocals and 3-4 part harmonies set the stage for a great live show whether acoustic or full band. Have played shows with the likes of Kevin Fowler, Diamond Rio, George Strait, Ronnie Milsap, Doug Stone, Eddy Raven and the list goes on.
